After the weekend, stocks were moving in circles for the most part we finally saw some groups 'wake up' from a slumber. Financials...remember them? finally put in a good relative performance and outpaced the broader indices. Tech was also inspired by cyber Monday and rose smartly. Bonds were mixed as the curve stretched out a bit. The action in gold is positive as it continues to consolidate for the next move higher, probably well over 1200. Dubai news seems a distant memory now, what with the market picking up half the losses from the Friday's open. Tuesday starts a new month and with some good action the Santa Claus rally may be taking shape.
