Yesterday, in our Trading Room, just before the market closed, I said:

the intraday charts are so choppy, but, the daily charts look like they want to break out higher!
In my post last night, I also commented:
"The US market looks to be ready to push higher tomorrow as well!"
Today, the market jumped! The Dow finished up +216.48 points (was above 8000 intraday); SPX added +23.3 points (came near 850); Nasdaq gained +51.03 points (finished above 1600!!).
And, the band of "Happy Traders" scored big today!

The best thing for me was the small position that I kept on RIMM. I cashed out enough to let the rest ride on house money. After the market, RIMM posted superb earnings and its shares traded above $60, up +23.41%!! Before the market closed, I said in the Trading Room:

back to $49. seems to be getting toppy on intradays; but, daily chart reads like a big breakout coming...
Yesterday, I also gave a target for RIMM, if the earnings were good:

above $46, $50 is the next resistance... could jump to $55-$60 if earnings are good...
RIMM is trading at $60.58 after the market. The rest of my position should see a quadruple tomorrow!! I'll do a more formal write-up on RIMM tomorrow (or this weekend), as I plan to take it easy tonight after this big day!
The market is toppy, so be careful. Tomorrow is Friday, but with RIMM's earnings as some extra fuel, we might see the market push higher in the morning, especially the techs.
